Our 10 days Uganda honeymoon tour offers an incredible holiday experience designed for honeymoon couples. The safari will take you to the most visited destinations in Uganda, including Jinja, where you will engage in adventurous white water rafting and the source of the Nile boat cruise; Kibale Forest National Park; and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas and chimpanzees in the natural habitat.
During your honeymoon tour, you will also visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will be able to spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, hippos, and Nile crocodiles, among others, during the game drives and boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. You will also visit Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale to relax and unwind after your gorilla trekking experience.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to a hotel in Entebbe
On the first day of your safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide at Entebbe International Airport and then transferred to your booked accommodation in Entebbe for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Transfer to Jinja, the source of the Nile boat cruise
You will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet up with your driver, who will brief you about the safari and later transfer you to Jinja via Mabira Forest and Sezibwa Falls. Upon arrival, check into your lodge for lunch, then enjoy an amazing boat cruise to the source of the Nile. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: White water rafting experience
After breakfast, meet up your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for an incredible white water rafting experience, which starts with a briefing about the rules and regulations for first-time rafters.
After the briefing, you will start the rafting experience, which has different grades, from grade 1 to grade 5, for experienced rafters. After the rafting experience, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Enjoy breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Kibale Forest National Park, also known as the primate capital. You will have an en-route lunch on the way and also enjoy views of the Rwenzori mountain peaks, crater lakes, beautiful scenery, and tea plantations, among others. Upon arrival, you will connect to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to transfer you to the park headquarters at Kanyachu Visitors Centre for the briefing about the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking.
After the briefing, you will be allocated a park guide and start hiking in the forest in search of the habituated chimpanzees, which takes about 2 to 5 hours depending on their location because they like to move from one place to another in search of food.
During the trek, you will enjoy views of different bird species and other primates like vervet monkeys, olive baboons, grey-cheeked magabey, blue monkeys, and black and white colobus monkeys, among others. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend one hour with them, watching them play, hunt, fight, rest, and feed, learn about their behaviors, and take pictures and record videos.
After spending one hour with the chimpanzees, you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will check out and meet your driver guide for the transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which takes about 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Morning game drive/lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast, and meet with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive or lion tracking experience in Kasenyi plains, where you will look out for wildlife species like buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, hyenas, bushbucks, warthogs, waterbucks, and hippos, among others.
Later return to the lodge for lunch, after which you will go for an amazing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you will be able to view large herds of hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water, see buffaloes and elephants that gather around the water to drink, and spot water birds, among others. After the boat cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha sector
You will have breakfast at leisure, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On the way, you will have a stopover at the Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive where you will be able to spot the tree-climbing lions lying in acacia trees and other animals like buffaloes, Uganda kobs, oribi, and elephants, among others.
Later, enjoy an en-route lunch before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Gorilla trekking experience
After an early breakfast, you will carry a packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing about the rules, regulations and expectations. After the briefing, you will be allocated a habituated gorilla family and start trekking in the jungle, which takes about 2 to 7 hours depending on where the mountain gorillas are located.
During trekking you will be able to view other wildlife species and once the gorillas are found, you will get a chance to learn about their behaviors and watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, and grooming young ones, taking pictures, and recording the breathtaking moments to show people back home. After the encounter with the gentle giants, you will return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi—boat ride
Have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale, which takes about a 3/4-hour drive.
Upon arrival, you will go for an exciting boat ride where you will enjoy the 29 islands, views of the terraced farmlands, and spot bird species, among others.
Later connect to your lodge for lunch and then spend the rest of the day at leisure, dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Departure to Entebbe
On the last day of the safari, you will enjoy breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Entebbe with a stopover in Mbarara town for en-route lunch and another stopover at the Equator, where you will take pictures and buy souvenirs.
Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop off at the hotel in Entebbe.
