Chimpanzee trekking

Chimpanzee trekking is one of the major activities in Kibale forest national park that attracts big numbers of tourists. Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest national park starts early in the morning with a briefing about the rules and regulations at the park headquarters. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest with an experienced park guide who is conversant with different chimpanzee trekking trails. Trekking of chimpanzees in Kibale forest national park takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. After the briefing, you will join a team of researchers, park rangers, guides, scientists and start trekking in the forest in search of the chimpanzees.
