The 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour is an interesting flying safari that will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is located in south western part of Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is known for harboring the highest number of mountain gorillas which are found in four sectors namely Rushaga sector in the south, Ruhija sector in the East, Nkuringo sector in the south and Buhoma sector in the north.
During the 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour, you will be able to spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas during the gorilla trekking experience.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depending on your location on the first day of the 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour, you will connect to Entebbe International airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will meet up with your driver guide and transfer to your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for lunch where after you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure or engage in a Batwa cultural tour where you will interact with the local people, learn about their culture, way of living, enjoy their traditional performance. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour, you will carry your lunch box and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will be divided into groups of 8 people where each group will be allocated a habituated gorilla family to trek.
Gorilla trekking takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the mountain gorillas are located and during trekking, you will be able to view other wildlife species. Once the gorillas are located, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their habitat which gives you a chance to watch them feeding, breastfeeding, playing, resting, grooming young ones, learn more about their behaviors, characters, take photos and record videos.
After the one hour with the mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the starting point where you will be given a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking experience and later meet up with your driver guide to return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure flight to Entebbe
On the last day of the 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kihihi airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe international airport which brings you to the end of the 3 days fly in gorilla trekking tour.
