This 5 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting is an interesting short safari that will take you to two destinations including Jinja where you will engage in white water rafting and source of the Nile boat ride and Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will be able to spend time with the mountain gorillas in their natural environment.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Jinja
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe International Airport on the first day of the 5 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Jinja. On the way you will have a stopover at Mabira forest, Sezibwa falls and then proceed to Jinja. Upon arrival, you will go for lunch where after you will go for a boat ride to the source of the Nile where you will be able to enjoy views of the beautiful scenery, landscape, birds among others. After the boat ride, you will meet up with your driver guide and connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: White water rafting experience
After breakfast on the second day of the 5 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for an adventurous white water rafting which starts with a briefing about the rules and regulations. After the briefing, you will start the white water rafting experience which has different grades ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 5. After white water rafting, you will meet up with your driver guide and drive back to Kampala for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the third day of the Uganda Safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On the way you will have a stopover at the Equator where you will buy souvenirs and take photos. From the Equator, you will proceed with another stopover for en-route lunch and then continue the journey to Bwindi national park. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 5 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the mountain gorillas are located. During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, different bird species, plants among others and once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn about their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, grooming young ones, take photos and record videos. After the encounter with the gentle giants, you will return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the 5 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advise depending on your schedule.
