5 Days Kibale & Queen Elizabeth National Park

5 Days in Kibale & Queen Elizabeth National Park is another long Uganda safari that takes up to almost a week in 2 national parks. You will visit up to 2 national parks in this safari that will leave you mesmerized.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale National Park

You will start this wildlife and primate safari, and you will be picked up by our company representative/driver from your location, and he will drive to Kibale National Park, the best safari destination in Africa for chimpanzee tracking.

Arrive in the park in the afternoon for lunch in Fort Portal town; visit the crater lakes tour and Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves before you proceed to your lodge in Kibale. Dinner and an overnight stay at Chimpanzee Guest House’s main house for mid-range, Isunga Lodge for budget, or Kyaninga Lodge for luxury on a full-board basis are available.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi wetland Visit

After breakfast you will continue the 5-day Kibale & Queen Elizabeth National Park safari and go for chimpanzee tracking with your packed food and water.

Meet your guide at the head office, then enter the rainforest to start searching for the chimpanzees; this will take 2-5 hours to find the chimpanzees. On seeing them, you will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees while taking pictures.

After tracking, you will refresh at the lodge and then go for a 2-3 hour nature walk at Bigodi wetland. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with an en route visit to the exploration crater lakes. Arrive in the park early in the afternoon, have lunch, and connect for a community tour in the Kasoga community.

Later in the afternoon, connect to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at Pumba Safari Cottages for budget/Parkview Safari Lodge for mid-range/Kyambura Gorge Lodge for luxury.

Day 4: Game drive and Boat cruise

After early morning breakfast, go for a game drive at the Kisenyi area, where you will spot a good number of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and all species of antelopes.

After enjoying your lunch at the lodge, go for your boat trip along the Kazinga Channel for yet another wildlife/bird watching experience as you cruise on Lake Edward/George. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above.

Day 5: Return to Kampala After breakfast, embark on your journey back to Kampala with en route lunch in Mbararalunch en routever will drop yoan overnighta locatiothe lodgeng advised.
