7 Days Murchison Falls Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Park
7 Days Murchison Falls Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Park is a one week safari that will take you to 3 national parks. This is an interesting lengthy tour that will see you travel to murchison falls national park, queen elizabeth national park and Kibale National Park.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer for Murchison Falls National Park
On Day one of our 7 Days Murchison Falls Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Park safari, you will be met by our company representative and drive to Murchison Falls National Park-Uganda’s largest national park. The park is a habitat for big 4 game. However you have an opportunity to meet the Rhinos on a stopover for about 2 to 3 hours at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking. After there, embark on your journey to the home of the magnificent falls, visit the top of the falls and later connect to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Heritage Safari Lodge or Red Chilli Rest Camp
Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise at the bottom of the falls
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive on the delta area. The activity takes about 3-5 hours and be able to view variety of wildlife including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis and waterbucks. After the drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon go for a launch cruise on the along the Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants and bee-eater. After viewing the falls at the bottom, you will meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Heritage or Red Chilli Rest Camp as above
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Continue the 7 Days Murchison Falls Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Park safari and have breakfast early and then set off to Kibale forest national park with lunch en-route, it’s a full day drive. Arrive and proceed to Kibale arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee forest guest house or Isunga lodge
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk
Have early morning breakfast and go for briefing and start Chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees.
After chimpanzee trekking, you will have lunch and then visit Bigodi wetland where you will experience a lot of bird life and unspoiled nature. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee forest guest house or Isunga lodge as above.
Day 5; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National
You will have breakfast and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will arrive well in time for lunch with en route Crater lakes and caves. Enjoy your lunch and unwind at your lodge or embark on a brief evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Pumba safari Cottages or Elephant Hub lodge and Kyambura Gorge lodge
Day 6: Game drives and launch cruise
After breakfast, continue the 7 Days Murchison Falls Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Park safari drive to Kasenyi area for an early morning game drive where you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards on a lucky day among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and later afternoon, go for a launch cruise where you will spot various water animals like Hippos and crocodiles, the cruise will also enrich you with various water birds. Dinner and overnight as above
Day 7: Return to Kampala
You will wake up early and have breakfast and drive back to Kampala with en route stopovers for lunch and equator. Arriving late afternoon and dropped at your hotel or proceed to Entebbe airport for your onward flight. End of 7 Days Murchison Falls Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari.
