
Kibale National Park Fees
Kibale National Park Fees are the charges levied on the travelers who would like to explore the activities in the park and enjoy the wildlife experience. The residents are defined as either foreigner that are staying in Uganda for more than one year or citizens of Uganda. According to the park entry tariffs of 2018 – 2019 as stipulated by the Uganda wildlife authority, different status categories of tourists are eligible to different park fees, as it is done in all other protected areas in Uganda and around Africa. To note, the residents are either foreign residents or the citizens of East Africa who reside within east Africa.
Kibale National Park is among the major national parks in Uganda and also recognized as the best biodiverse protected area in Africa. Kibale National Park is also ranked in the first category by the Uganda wildlife authority; the government body responsible for all protected areas in Uganda. Kibale national park is vital for primate safaris in Uganda with over 13 species of animals of the Hominidae family, including the chimpanzees, monkeys, baboons, mangabeys, bush babies among others.
Park Entry fees
The Kibale National Park fees are specified in different groups and vary differently. Starting with the park entry fees to kibale national park, the adults are entitled to USD 30 if foreign residents, and UGX 20,000 for the East African citizens. The children are charged USD 10 for foreign residents and UGX 5000 for the east African citizens, as kibale national park entry fees.

And, to verify your status, you need to present a one-year valid working permit for the foreign residents and a national identification card for the East African citizens.
Other park fees
Besides the park entry fees, there are other park fees you are liable to clear in order to enjoy your safari in the African jungle of Kibale national park. For example, if you are to hire a UWA Game drive vehicle, a foreign resident is charged USD 30 and UGX30,000 for the east African citizens a day. The other charges affiliated to kibale national park are the activity charges such as chimpanzee trekking permits for foreign residents go for USD100 and UGX100,000 for the East African citizens. On the other hand, a foreign resident is liable to a fee of USD 200, and UGX150,000 for east African citizens, for a one-day chimpanzee habituation experience in kibale national park.
